Plagiarism Screening
MISOOL: Jurnal Pendidikan Dasar is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and originality in scholarly publishing. All manuscripts submitted to the journal are subject to a rigorous plagiarism screening process prior to peer review.
To ensure the authenticity of submissions, the journal utilizes Turnitin as its primary plagiarism detection tool. Each manuscript is evaluated to identify potential similarities with previously published works, including academic articles, books, conference proceedings, and online sources.
The journal enforces a maximum similarity index threshold of 20%, excluding references, quotations, and properly cited materials. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be returned to authors for revision or rejected outright, depending on the extent and nature of the similarity detected.
Authors are expected to ensure that their submissions are original and free from plagiarism, including self-plagiarism. Proper citation and acknowledgment of all sources must be maintained in accordance with academic standards.
In cases where plagiarism, data fabrication, or other forms of academic misconduct are identified, the journal will take appropriate actions in line with established ethical guidelines. These actions may include manuscript rejection, retraction of published articles, and notification to the authors’ affiliated institutions.
Through this policy, MISOOL: Jurnal Pendidikan Dasar aims to maintain the credibility, integrity, and scholarly quality of all published works.
