PEER REVIEW PROCESS

MISOOL: Jurnal Pendidikan Dasar implements a rigorous, selective, and comprehensive peer review process to ensure the publication of high-quality scholarly work. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their relevance to the journal’s scope, originality, and compliance with submission guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be rejected without external review.

Eligible manuscripts are then subjected to a double-blind peer review process, in which both the identities of the authors and the reviewers are concealed to maintain objectivity and impartiality. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers who possess expertise in the relevant field of study.

The review process is designed to be both critical and constructive, providing authors with detailed feedback aimed at improving the quality, clarity, and academic contribution of their work. Reviewers assess manuscripts based on several key criteria, including originality, methodological rigor, theoretical grounding, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the advancement of knowledge in elementary education.

MISOOL: Jurnal Pendidikan Dasar emphasizes a thorough and in-depth evaluation, ensuring that each manuscript is carefully examined for its scholarly merit and relevance. The journal maintains high selectivity standards, and only manuscripts that meet the required level of academic excellence are considered for publication.

Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial decision may fall into one of the following categories: acceptance without revision, minor revision, major revision, or rejection. Authors are required to respond to reviewers’ comments systematically and revise their manuscripts accordingly within the specified timeframe.

The final decision regarding publication rests with the Editor-in-Chief, who considers reviewers’ evaluations, the quality of revisions, and the overall contribution of the manuscript.

The journal is committed to maintaining the integrity, transparency, and efficiency of the review process. All submitted manuscripts are treated confidentially, and the review process is conducted in accordance with international ethical standards and best practices in scholarly publishing.
